“The conventional Wisdoms are not always right”

Introduction: This website is not the text book. But the articles or subjects are almost always related to human’s health, happiness, aging and longevity. All the subjects are subjected to further discussion and analysis. Most of the materials for the articles usually obtain online from google search engine, free dictionary, and free encyclopedia such as Wikipedia and answers.com and Medline as well medical journals that I have the previlage to obtain them. Because this is the one man operation without commercial financial assistance.  But my goal is a long time goal; that is to make people happier, healthier and living longer. If anyone has the same goal and want to help, always welcome either to write the articles or by the financial assistance.

You will find the new research studies and results and medical news from this section by linking to the other medical journals. This will be up to date as soon as I have reviewed.

Breakfast:

Definition: Breakfast is the first the meal of the day usually eaten within an hour or two after a person wakes up in the morning. The word derives from the idea of breaking the involuntary fast of sleep.[1]

Traditionally breakfast is a large cooked meal eaten before work and designed to carry people through a large part of the day.

The erosion of the cooked breakfast has been an ongoing trend in the Western world since at least the early 20th century, coinciding with later waking times than when most Westerners had agricultural occupations. Today, hampered by busy morning schedules, many neglect breakfast or skip it entirely. This trend now exists in industrialized nations worldwide, where it is accompanied frequently by replacing local breakfast traditions with modern Western-style foods, often packaged or pre-made.
